Following the incredible success of our Summer Fete, Holborough Lakes Social Committee is getting ready to bring the community together again – this time for something truly festive. We’re planning a very special Christmas Fair on the Village Green, with festive food and drink, Christmas shopping, local makers, seasonal entertainment, family activities and, of course, a very special visit from Santa. We want to fill the Village Green with Christmas lights, festive stalls, great food, Christmas music and plenty of seasonal cheer. It’ll be a chance to get together with friends, family and neighbours, discover some fantastic local businesses, pick up some unique Christmas gifts and enjoy the build-up to Christmas right here at Holborough Lakes. The date, times and full programme are still being finalised, but you can register your interest now. Registering interest doesn’t commit you to attending. It helps us understand likely numbers so we can make the event as good as possible, and means you’ll be among the first to hear when the date, times and further details are confirmed. After the fantastic turnout for our Summer Fete, we’re hoping to make our Christmas Fair another brilliant community event – and we’d love you to be part of it. Interested in having a stall? We’re also welcoming registrations of interest from vendors who would like to join us on the Village Green. We’re particularly keen to hear from Christmas craft and gift stalls, independent makers, artisan producers, local businesses and festive food vendors. Handmade decorations, Christmas gifts, candles, crafts, confectionery, cakes and bakes, seasonal treats, hot food and other festive favourites would all be fantastic additions to the event. Our Summer Fete attracted a fantastic turnout and showcased an amazing range of local vendors, and we want to build on that success for Christmas.
